If you really look closely, most overnight successes took a long time.”   —   Steve Jobs

(Hardly an “original idea”, but true.  I bet roy, and a few other die-hards, saw IF YOU right off the bat.  And, quickly picked up on REALLY LOOK pretty quickly after that.  I guess it’s just one of those easy puzzle days!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

It does not make sense to hire smart people and then tell them what to do.  We hire smart people to tell us what to do.”   —   Steve Jobs

(I guess that works for “knowledge workers”.  Not so much for fish out of water workers, like me.  I graduated from college with a degree in Liberal Arts.  When I entered the world of Institutional Banking, I realized I could get by with my common sense, but I definitely required on the job training.  So, yeah.  I needed to be told what to do.  To encourage creativity, it makes more sense, to me, to say:  and then tell them what NOT to do.  But, he’s the genius, and I’m just a mouthy blogger.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Great things in business are never done by one person.  They’re done by a team of people.”   —   Steve Jobs

(This one was so easy to solve that I probably could have saved myself the trouble, and toner, of having to print it out!  I hardly think that Steve was the first to have this epiphany.  But, many in management need constant reminding of this.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Sometimes when you innovate, you make mistakes.  It is best to admit them quickly, and get on with improving your innovations.”   —   Steve Jobs

(Phew!  That was a long one.  Not all that tough, although there were no single letter words, and only one word ended in an E.  I figured the second sentence either started with IF IT, or IT IS, so that gave me the I.  From there the long first word of the first sentence became apparent, and I was off to the races.  I just found out that Steve Jobs was adopted, and that his biological father was from Syria.  You learn something new every day.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward.”   —   Steve Jobs

(Wow.  I never knew Steve Jobs was a 9/11 “Truther”!  See below, guys and girls.  Be well and do good.)   —   YUR

PS.  Of course it’s just a little bait and switch.  Just what do you think the corporate media does to us on a regular basis?!?!   —   YUR  😉
