(I’m kind of torn between a great admiration for this woman, who lived an all too short life, and this nagging feeling that she kind of wasted her all too short life.  You could argue that she made her choices, but I would just as vigorously argue that she really had no choice.  In another place and time – and to different parents – she might have become a great doctor, teacher or philosopher.  Now, this – a life – is something that truly cannot be undone.)   —   YUR
