Clue/Question: The tips of the darts were dull, so throwing them at the dartboard was – – –
Answer: POINTLESS
(Ahh. A keen pun, indeed! All of the clue words have shown up before, while all of the jumbles are of the more! I’m betting that “parsni” was the one that gave trouble, by hiding a single syllable with that of a double. The others were well done. Just not as much fun.
The answer letter layout was a prize winning jumble! If not for the clue/question I’m sure some would stumble. Or, maybe even fumble. The skills of David Hoyt should all make us humble.
The cartoon was crisp, and ever so clear. Like that of a pilsner, and not of a witbier. I think that as often as the darts may be dull, the dartboard itself can be as hard as a hull. Jeff is no loser, that’s abundantly clear. But, it looks like this time he’s buying Bill’s beer. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
