Answer: STEPPING STONES
(Rolling Stones? Stone roses? “I’m Not Your Steppin’ Stone”? “Heart of Stone”? “Turn to Stone”? Stone in Love”? “Roll Away the Stone”? “I’ll Turn to Stone”? “Stone Cold Crazy”? “Sticks and Stones”? “Throwing Stones”? “Stoned Soul Picnic”? And “Stepping Stone”? Only a couple of bands, but plenty of songs with stone/s/d in the title! Some stones kinda stink when you hit them with a hammer, or another stone. Probably sulfur content? Does that make this a stinky pun? Nah! It’s late and I’m just rambling.
Now it’s the next day and I really should adjust the title. There! Done! There were no new clue words for this particular Jumble. However, all of this day’s jumbles/scrambles are coming up as new, for me. They were all pretty quick solves. The answer letter layout was a flamboyant fourteen letter jumble. Decently cryptic. The preponderance of S’s, T’s, N’s and E’s made for the quick solve.
Great cartoon of a landscaping company transforming this lady’s yard. The guys look like they are skilled at what they’re doing, and the woman seems happy with the work that they’re doing. Looks like a win/win all around. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
