Alright . . . Visual Description:  A tuckered out shrubbery gardener, and her doofus hubby.

GUHOD  =  DOUGH,  BAUQS  =  SQUAB,  SLEUUF  =  USEFUL,  SAYMUL  =  ASYLUM   —   Giving us:  DHBEUS

Clue/Question:  After a long day of planting hedges, she was this.

Answer:  BUSHED

(Decent clue word jumbling.  Nothing that required writing out combinations, or needing to back into.  No new clue words today. 
The answer letter layout was fine.  This is another one that felt kind of like a re-run, but maybe I’ve just been doing this too long.  The cartoon set up the gag very well.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
