Clue/Question: When the scuba diver startled the octopus, it put him – – –
Answer: IN “ARMS“ WAY
(Let the intellectual, linguistic purist, snobs pooh pooh us all they want! We are proud of being fans of the stinky pun! But, could somebody turn on the exhaust fan, because that one was extra stanky!
There were no new clue words today, and only two of the jumbles came up as new, “boaaem” and “ryluse”. I had no trouble with any of them. The answer letter layout was another excellent jumble. Nice and cryptic. Another great cartoon, too. I’m going to go out on a limb and say that the upper right hand portion of the sea contains a pod of whales or porpoises. On the really reduced sized jumbles they must look like dots! I understand that octopuses are very intelligent, but they just freak me the hell out! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
