Rumi: the Musical | London Coliseum

Wear gratitude like a cloak, and it will feed every corner of your life.”   —   Rumi

(I know that life can be tough – tougher for some, more than others – but we should be grateful for every single breath we take.  I don’t think that we are alone in the universe, but the kind of life that we know is such a rare thing of beauty.  None of us should take it for granted.  Nor this fragile planet that has given us this life.  Be grateful for every little thing that you have, folks.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Rumi – Poem of the Atoms | Metal Gaia

The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.”   —   Rumi

(Great quote, but we already had it back in February of 2020.  We keep saying we’re not fond of these re-runs, but somebody obviously isn’t listening to us!  LOL!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.”   —   Rumi

(Obvious, but also so true.  Even thinking too hard about how you might reply to someone makes it a little harder to hear what the other person is actually saying.  That is one of our biggest problems today.  We are not fully hearing what the other guy/gal is saying.  We all need to practice serious listening.  Surprisingly, this is the first Rumi quotation to be used in the Cryptoquote, since I’ve been posting these spoilers.  Sadly, I had never heard of the 13th Century Persian poet, faqih, Islamic scholar, theologian, and Sufi mystic before.  I guess our predominantly Judeo-Christian Western civilization doesn’t care to give credit to “the opposition”.  We all have so much to learn from each other!  If we’d only listen.  We welcome Rumi to the Cryptoquote Club today.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
