Visual Description: Fracturing the ground for hydro. (As opposed to the EVIL reversal!)

KEAWA = AWAKE, ROWNS = SWORN, SRLIHL = SHRILL, TESLET = SETTLE — Giving us: WESWRHILSEL
Clue/Question: When he started to drill for water, these turned up.
Answer: WELL WISHERS
(Very nice pun! No circle errors, or dupe words. We even have a new word for the ralis95 clue word database, in “sworn” I would’ve sworn it was already in there! None of the jumblings were all that tough. The answer letter layout was alright, but I think it could’ve been better. Nice, friendly cartoon. Hydraulic Fracturing, conceivably, can be done safely. Geologist and other concerned scientist can do it, in the interest of discovery. BUT, introduce the element of PROFIT, and very quickly the safety regulations get compromised. The risk of our precious ground water being befouled, just so natural gas can be extracted is just not worth it. Even IF all the natural gas were to be used domestically, it would still be too risky. But, the majority of the gas is slated for export! I say Screw That! Say: Frack No, to Hydro-fracking! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
