Answer:  WON BY A NOSE

(How else would he win?  A nice, stinky pun for Christmas Day!  All of the clue words are old friends, but their jumbles all appear to be new.  I don’t think they were all that difficult.  The answer letter layout was a dandy jumble too.  But, with Rudolph you just have to know that “nose” is going to be part of the answer.  The cartoon was very fun.  Kind of an alternate version of the reindeer games when Rudolph was a yearling.  It is one of my favorite Christmas cartoon specials though.  That, along with A Charlie Brown Christmas.  Both of them have some very memorable songs/music!  I hope all of you had a very merry Christmas, and enjoyed the company of family and friends.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
