“We may eliminate death someday, but I doubt if we’ll ever eliminate taxes.” — Robert A. Heinlein
(Apologies to all of the non-American readers out there for today’s subject line. April the 15th may not be as relevant to you, as it is here in the United States of Murica. But ironically, due to some funky state holidays – that the fed feels they have to acknowledge – April the 15th isn’t completely relevant to us anymore! I think we have until the 18th to file our tax returns this year. No one is complaining mind you, but tax day is getting like the first day of a season, or something guided by the Jewish calendar. You know that it’s roughly around a certain time, but you’re waiting for word to come down from the mountain. Is this still Passover??? If so then Happy Passover to our Jewish readers. And, Happy Holy Week to Catholics. And, Happy Saturday, and the day before Easter to everybody else. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
