Clue/Question: The Post Office in Washington, D.C. featured . . .
Answer: CAPITAL LETTERS
(Very clever, guys! A double meaning, with a bonus clue, from Mr. Knurek. All the signs are in capital letters. No new clue words today, but things were jumbled well. I’m sure that “either” gave Lesley, and others who have difficulty with words that begin with vowels, a little trouble. I think that changing the order of the clue words could have made the answer letter layout a little more challenging. Too much of the word CAPITAL can be seen in the first half of the letters. But, that’s just me. Great cartoon. You know, the USPS would not be in the financial situation it is in if it were not for Congress’ deliberate over funding of the USPS’ pension plan. Our corporate “friends” over at FedEx and UPS would just love for our postal service to fold. Do you think that maybe the lobbyists for these corporate courier delivery services had anything to do with this over funding??? Privatization is quickly killing this country, folks. If you have a choice for your next mail needs, please patronize your United States Postal Service. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
