Determining a Total Loss Vehicle | Morris Bart, LLC

Answer:  TOTALED IT

(This sums things up nicely!  It’s only “bad news” though if you’ve got crappy insurance.  But there IS the inconvenience aspect, regardless of how good your insurance is.  You’ll probably need a rental for a few days, at least, until you can buy a new car.  I’ve only been through this once, when a UPS/FedEx type truck rear-ended our Chrysler Grand Caravan, and totaled it.  I never really liked having a mini-van, though it did come in handy more than a few times, but it was kind of sad going to the body shop and retrieving personal items from it.

All of today’s clue words are on the ralis95 clue word database.  Three of the jumbles are coming up as new, for me.  But we’ve definitely seen “loyid” some time before.  For half a second I went to gallon, before realizing it was “lagoon”.  The answer letter layout was a nifty nine letter jumble.  Pretty hard disguising today’s final answer though!

Great cartoon of the stereotypical Math teacher, at the auto body shop.  Gotta love the name of the place:  “Tic Tac Towing Co.”!  Not sure if this was all Jeff’s idea, or if it was David’s suggestion.  Drive safely, folks!  Fun way to start the week.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

This is Versailles: Grand Officers of the Crown

Were we perfectly acquainted with an object, we should never passionately desire it.”   —   La Rochefoucauld

(Is this some kind of warning about incest, or something?  These 17th Century French quotes just blow my mind!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
