Hastings College - Track and Field Brings Home Ten All-Americans from NationalsAnswer:  BROKEN RECORD

(Excellent stinky pun!  I’m sure that many of you think that my comments sound like a broken record.  LOL!  I do try to follow a certain format, but I also strive to make most of the comments relevant to that day’s puzzle.  And of course I usually will put my personal spin on things, because . . . it’s my blog!  Guess what though?  This expression that so many of us all know and love is likely going to die out with us.  Kids don’t know records.  Just like they don’t know cassettes.  Heck, they barely know CDs!  All of their music today is digitally downloaded.  Spotify and whatnot.  Records are like landlines to them.  Rotary landlines!  It’s a brave new world, and we’re the ancient warriors!

No new clue words today!  But again, all of the jumbles appear to be new.  Saw them all immediately.  The answer letter layout was a terrific twelve letter jumble.  Sufficiently cryptic.  The entire setup made this a no brainer for me.

Basic track event cartoon.  Definitely got the point across.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
