Clue/Question: For the earth, rotating once every 24 hours is – – –
Answer: ALL IN A DAY’S WORK
(Steve Harvey likes to say: “I’m your man.” But, for me, Neil deGrasse Tyson is The Man! Grew up in the BX! Harvard, U. of Texas, Columbia, Princeton. Became an Astrophysicist. And, he’s been the Director of the Hayden Planetarium since 1996. Smart fellow, to say the least. He’s no Fritz Zwicky, or no Annie Cannon, but he definitely ain’t no slouch. He’s a science popularizer, and he’s great at explaining things. He’s an inspiration to so many kids and young adults.
All of today’s clue words are old friends. But all of the jumbles have come up as new. No big stumpers though. The answer letter layout was a very impressive thirteen letter jumble. By itself it is a very cryptic jumble. But all the talk about “24 hours” was just too big a hint.
Fine classroom/lecture hall cartoon, featuring Neil “the Real Deal” daGrasse Tyson. Speaking upon the heavens. But 1670 kilometers per hour? That’s nearly 1038 miles per hour! That’s about twice as fast as a commercial jetliner. Give or take. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
