Answer: “PERCHES“ THEM
(Boy. The guys really had me going there, for a bit. I wasn’t making the connection for a few minutes. No new clue words today, but three of the jumbles came up as new. We’ve seen “cithh” before. And, I’m sure I’ve said it before, but “accent” is another one of those words that spells out in alphabetical order. The answer letter layout was a great cryptic jumble. I don’t think it gave anything away. Just from the way the clue/question was phrased, I thought that the second word was going to be THEM. When it left me with HESRPCE I thought that maybe I was wrong about THEM! But, finally the quotation marks and the pun aspect kicked in, and I saw PERCHES. Very good, guys. I liked Jeff’s kind of blase birds. It looks like one is even texting, or maybe even playing Angry Birds! Hey, how about that? A very satisfying Jumble! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
