(Great groaner of a pun! No new clue words today, but all of the jumbling looked new, to me. I can’t say that any of them were particularly tough, but maybe the five-letter words, starting with vowels, tripped up a few of you. Making the jumbles look like other words does work sometimes, but the jumble of “pursue” still came off as obvious. The answer letter layout was a much better jumble, although swapping the order of “acute” and “icing” would have made it slightly more challenging. Top-notch cartoon. I was always a big Carl Sagan fan. Although he did live to 62, I always thought he died way too young. Another one of my favorites who died way too young actually died this day in 1981. The soulful balladeer and humanitarian, Mr. Harry Chapin was only 38 when he tragically died, in a car accident on the Long Island Expressway.
