Clue/Question: When the restaurant’s steak were aged too long, it was – – –
(Nothing like the stench of decaying meat! And, what a great pun! None of the clue words were new, but all of the jumbles came up new, for me. I got a little hung up on “stereo” . . . again! Certain words, no matter how they’re jumbled, always seem to trip me up. I didn’t need to back into it or anything, but initially I was writing down RESTORE! I kinda ran out of squares. So, I had to take a harder look. I got there before looking at the cartoon though. The cartoon is great too. Loads of fun little details. I hope you all caught the flies. The answer letter layout was pretty special too. No giveaways there. All in all, a superlative puzzle! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
