(A lovely, historical and geographical pun!  Magellan was a pretty crafty dude.  He gets credit for being the first to circumnavigate the globe, despite being killed by my in-laws ancestors!  Well, at least his ship and some of his crew made it back home.  We have no new clue words today, but three of the jumbles are coming up as new.  We’ve definitely seen “bihta” before.  I really liked the jumble for “putrid”, and I just love the word.  It has disgust built right into it!  The answer letter layout was masterful.  It gave nothing away.  I think you have to be a bit of a history – and maybe geography – buff to get and appreciate today’s Jumble.  Cool drawing too.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
