Clue/Question: He didn’t buy the drum set because he wanted . . .
Answer: MORE BANG FOR HIS BUCK
(Very nice! I can see some of you having some difficulty getting this one. I had a tough time getting “purser”. I’m never sure with these kind of words if they should end in OR or ER. So, I had to back into it. I liked the jumbling of “fiasco”, but I recognized it pretty quickly. Surprisingly, “grumpy” is a new word! ralis95 will have to add it to his clue word database. The answer letter layout was nice and cryptic. I felt it gave away nothing. Great drawing, too. Jeff showing off some of his musical knowledge. Nice going, bro. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
PS. Rest in Peace, Helen Thomas! You were one of the all-time great White House correspondents. You were a true trail blazer. You didn’t accept non-answers. You held their feet to the fire, like a good journalist should. Too bad today, the business is mainly full of corporate kiss-up hacks. Your grit and perseverance is sorely missing these days. I will long remember you as what a real journalist should be. Thank you for being you. — YUR
