Answer:  HANDMEDOWNS

(Ahh!  A very visual pun.  Without Jeff Knurek’s great cartoon, I think that many of us – myself included – might have had a difficult time solving this Jumble.  The phrase “hand-me-downs” usually refers to what goes on, not what they go on.  Very clever pun.

I’m sure that everyone recognized today’s clue words as familiar old friends.  Simultaneously, all of today’s jumbles appear to be new!  I didn’t find any of them to be head scratchers though.  The answer letter layout was a skilled eleven letter Jumble.  David L. Hoyt is at the top of his game!

Fine cartoon of the set up at a department store, or clothing boutique.  Whoever first came up with the idea of mannequins was a bit of a genius.  Seeing items of clothing on hangers alone can be misleading, and requires trying them on personally.  But, seeing them modeled on a human facsimile gives you a better idea of what they would look like on you.  Although, sometimes they can be downright creepy.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
