Answer: SPEND THE NIGHT
(A spectacular stinky pun! Mom is amazed, junior is jazzed, and dad is depressed . . . and in shock. Getting stranded like this is a hassle, but you’ve got to just make the best of a bad situation. Help yourself to some towels, or something.
Hoyt has created some work for our good friend ralis95! The word “runny” does not appear on the latest version of his world famous clue word database. It’s always the simplest words that throw me for a loop. I had no inkling that this was going to come up as a new word. All four of the jumbles are coming up as new. I saw all the words right away. The answer letter layout was an interesting ten letter jumble. The answer did not hit me right away. I checked off NHGIT as THING! But/and that left me with NDSEP. Right away I saw SPEND, but neither THING THE SPEND, nor SPEND THE THING made any sense. But, of course, SPEND THE NIGHT did! I never stopped to think that THING and NIGHT used the same letters. LOL!
Great cartoon of a ritzy hotel room. It’s a little hard to tell what city this is, but ya gotta love the view of the bay, or sea, or ocean. Could even be a Great Lake, I suppose. But, I enjoyed the classic sinking sailboat on the horizon! Fun Jumble. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
