Visual Description: The woodworker’s dream.
MOUHR = HUMOR, SCMIU = MUSIC, LATELB = BALLET, KUEERB = REBUKE — Giving us: UMRMUSBLLEREB
Clue/Question: He jokingly called the wood he used to make the handcrafted bed – – –
Answer: SLUMBER LUMBER
(And, why not? For him, “Sweet Dreams – Are Made Of This”! Or, so he hopes at least. Although, the bed frame itself has little to do with the kind of sleep one gets. That’s really more a matter of the mattress, and – to a lesser extent – the pillow. And, for some/many even the sheets. As long as the frame is sturdy, and not wobbly, it’s more a matter of aesthetics.
All of today’s clue words are familiar old favorites again. But again, all of the jumbles are coming up as new. I was able to unscramble them immediately. The answer letter layout was cumbersome thirteen letter jumble. I thought it was admirably cryptic. For me, the U’s, M’s and B’s kind of stood out.
Great cartoon of the married couple who likes to do projects together. Traditionally, you don’t see a lot of this, but times are changing, folks. I like the plans that they have up on the board. I’m guessing that’s a band saw in the background. It’s only been 50 years since I was in Shop Class, guys! A nice rhyming Jumble! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
