“The wonder of a single snowflake outweighs the wisdom of a million meteorologists.” — Francis Bacon
(Take that, Lonnie Quinn! LOL!!! This wasn’t an easy solve, people. I suspected the FGS was THE, but couldn’t commit to it until I figured out the author’s first name was most likely Francis. Not that one really has anything to do with the other, but it helped me confirm that the H was the A and the V was the I. “Francis” helped me figure out SINGLE too. Before that, for a little while I was thinking MILLION might be FOLLOWS, but I knew the U couldn’t be the W, and the C was unlikely to be F. But, METEOROLOGIST was the last word I was thinking of, until things started coming together. Even with THE and A, I thought this was a challenging puzzle. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
