Answer:  “RE–ACTION“ TIME

(Is this a serious pun, like some Marvel super hero movie?  Or more of a campy pun, like in the old “Batman” television series?  Seeing the condition of our “heroes” I’m going to guess the latter.  Jumble Man and Jumble Boy?

All of today’s clue words already reside on the world famous ralis95 clue word database.  And, three of the jumbles have already been used before.  Only “mcaph” came up as new.  They were automatic for me this morning.  The answer letter layout was a nifty twelve letter jumble.  It disguised the final answer very nicely.  Because of the words “quickly”, “again” and “duration” I was certain that the second word of the final answer was TIME.  The CANROEIT, especially after figuring it was RE- something, gave me the first word.

It’s an action film, baby!  It seems that our heroes, David and Jeff, can fly.  Beyond that, their other super powers are a little dubious.  But, it looks like like they are the protectors of Chicago.  Maybe David deflects lasers off his chrome dome, and Jeff has a voice that can shatter eardrums?  Maybe that director is Kevin Smith.  But, where’s his hockey jersey?  This would be a great indie comedy.  Lots of fun today.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
