(I guess there was always the love her/hate her thing with Madonna.  Maybe, since a little before she came along, I have not been a fan of that kind of Pop music, so I was never a fan-boy.  But I always appreciated her moxie, and I always found her very easy on the eyes.  Now that she’s getting older she’s been getting a lot of flack for the work she has had done, and for trying too hard to appear youthful.  Growing old is tough on all of us, but probably more so for sex symbol/celebrities.  I say give her a break.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

(Despite my Art History classes, in college – which I did excel at – I cannot say I remember her.  I see she was big in the Art Deco movement.  Known for her stylized nudes, and portraits of aristocrats and other wealthy people.  Madonna is a big fan/collector of her work, and she has used some of Lempicka’s works in some of her videos and movies.  Cool, huh?!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

(That’s true.  But, there are mostly legitimate reasons for keeping things unspoken.  Some things, like more money, or “world peace” for example, are universal wants, but most people can’t provide this for you.  And, with the more personal wants, our puritanical society is too quick to label you a “freak” when you voice them.  I think this is the main reason people keep their wants to themselves.  But, more power to people like Madonna.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
