Answer:  “TREE–O“

(I think one of David Hoyt’s kids came up with this one.  Most puns have a kind of childlike innocence to them – that’s part of the charm of them – but today’s almost has a knock-knock joke quality to it.  A little obvious, and a little corny.  But, that’s okay.  A little silly is good for the soul.  But, hey!  Guess what???  We have a new clue word today!  Yes, the drought is over.  The word “thrift” can be added to the ralis95 clue word database.  I’m always a little surprised when it’s such a simple, common word like that.  Of course, its jumble is new as well, but two other jumbles came up as new too.  The only one we’ve definitely seen before is “netve”.  The answer letter layout was a nice little jumble.  Cute little yard scene.  I hope those are some kind of dwarf oaks, because they’re planted awfully close together if they’re going to grow to full size.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
