“If I had to give young writers advice, I would say don’t listen to writers talking about writing or themselves.” — Lillian Hellman
(A great reason for NOT looking at the the author! I completely ignored/didn’t see? the first D, and decided HE had to be WILLIAM someone! This meant that I had the T as the M, instead of the N. Of course, I caught/corrected myself, but it seemed to take me a lot of time to see THEMSELVES, and especially WRITERS! I only have myself to blame, as I always hold out on filling in the T‘s and the E‘s until the very end. It generally helps in prolonging the fun! We’ve had Lillian Hellman before, but I went off on an interesting tangent, looking up a movie that she wrote called “The Chase”. Made in 1966, it stars Marlon Brando, a very young Robert Redford, Jane Fonda, Angie Dickinson, E.G. Marshall and Robert Duvall. There’s also an interesting cast of lesser characters, including Marlon’s sister, Jocelyn! Now, I want to see this movie! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
