Answer:  BLEEDING HIM DRY

(I think there’s a weird cyclical thing going on with doctors and lawyers.  The lawyers saw that doctors had success with their use of leeches, so they caught on to the value of bloodsucking.  Then the doctors saw how the lawyers were getting away with bleeding their clients, and they figured they could do the same to their patients.  Of course the doctors get a lot of help from the healthcare insurers and pharmaceutical firms, but you get my drift.

There were no new clue words today, but all of the jumbles are coming up as new.  I really liked the ones for “inward” and “pardon”.  Excellent answer letter layout.  If you didn’t pick up on the clue/question and the cartoon’s dialog, I’m sure the answer letter layout would not have helped you any.  Very nicely jumbled.  And, the cartoon was very amusing.  The lawyer looks scarier than old Drac!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
