Clue/Question:  They re-surfaced the pool table, and – – –

Answer:  IT FELT GREAT

(A clean slate!  Covered by a brand new, fresh, smooth layer of felt.  All the other tables are green with envy.  Or burgundy, or blue . . . or any number of colors these days.  It’s not like the old days, when just about every pool table was green.  But felt is felt.

All of today’s clue words are already on the ralis95 clue word database.  But it looks like all of the jumbles are new.  The only one I struggled with was “lhuemi”.  I took the easy way out, and backed into “helium”.  There was enough of the answer letter layout, without the LI, for me to solve the final answer.  The final answer slots made that easy for me.  But it’s an excellent eleven letter jumble.

Fun cartoon of some billiards devotees at their favorite pool hall.  And the proud owner of the establishment!  I like the overhead lights too!  Just not sure what that is on the guy’s baseball cap.  It looks kind of like a slug!  Not sure of the relevance of that.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
