Democrats Join the Mad Tea Party: The Contest Begins between Feinstein and De León – Berkeley Political Review

Let’s all congratulate us with another cup of tea!  A very merry unbirthday to you!”   —   “Alice in Wonderland

(This was a little different!  It’s not often that they cite the book, instead of the book’s author.  Possibly a first?  As far as the Tags go, I still selected Lewis Carroll though.  Why wait to celebrate, folks?  Every single day should be congratulated.  Right?  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.”   —   Lewis Carroll

(This must be a line from one of his stories!  I just read that Carroll – supposedly – “was not on drugs”, but then it goes on to say that he may have taken Laudanum, which is a funky combination of alcohol and opium!  To me, it doesn’t matter whether it was “legal” in those days, both are still considered drugs!  Some of the things that he came up with suggest some kind of altered state, in my opinion.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

I can’t go back to yesterday because I was a different person then.”   —   Lewis Carroll

(As much as we may like to . . . going back just can’t be the same.  Every day we change some, at least a little bit.  Hopefully, more often than not, for the better.  Be open to it.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

If you drink much from a bottle marked “poison,” it is almost certain to disagree with you sooner or later.”   —   Lewis Carroll

(Because of the Y being the F, and where the first one was located, my brain thought that the Y had already been deciphered.  I wrote out, what I thought were all the unused letters:  JQVXZ – which is actually quite impressive for a relatively short quote – but couldn’t figure out what else could possibly go with _OU.  I looked again and said:  You DIDN’T use the Y yet, you ninny!  Not sure if there was any intention in this, or just my personal slip-up.  Don’t tempt fate in a reckless way, friends.  Stay away from those bottles marked “poison.”  Be well and do good.)   —   YUR

Begin at the beginning, and go on till you come to the end: then stop.”   —   Lewis Carroll
