(One of those literal puns!  Not bad.  We do have a new clue word, in “payout”!  Our good buddy, ralis95, will have to update his world famous database for this word.  It’s another one of those compound words, that DID make me hesitate to write it down.  But, I confirmed it by backing into it.  A little surprising, because I thought the answer letter layout was a superior jumble today.  No giveaways.  The only jumble that was not new today was “seryds”.  Fun cartoon.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
