You’re not really famous until you’re a PEZ dispenser.”   —   Carrie Fisher

(Pretty funny!  Though kind of bizarre at the same time.  I don’t think I’ve ever seen an actual person portrayed as a PEZ dispenser.  Aren’t they usually some kind of cartoonish character?  But it’s been a while since I’ve bought one.  So, who knows?!  Ah!  Now I see!  I started this one off like gangbusters!  But then I hit a brick wall.  I certainly wasn’t looking for PEZ DISPENSER, and I could see neither FAMOUS nor FISHER for a while.  I figured on CARRIE, but couldn’t rule out some unorthodox first name ending in ARRIE.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Lady Gaga shares devastating update on Tony Bennett after Grammy nominations | HELLO!

Celebrate all the things you don’t like about yourself – love yourself.”   —   Lady Gaga

(This sounds like a quote that we’ve had before.  I think I prefer the Gaga as an an actress, more than as a singer, but she sure can sing.  She’s singing with Tony Bennett this Sunday night, on CBS.  This was Tony’s last  concert as he is retiring due to his diagnosis with Alzheimer’s disease.  I’d say it’s worth a watch.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Celebrate all the tings you don’t like about yourself – love yourself.”   —   Lady Gaga

(I just love that I’m very quickly turning into a cranky old man!  It allows me to have a KMA and an IDGAF approach to things.  LOL!  Be well and do good . . . you “little monsters”.)   —   YUR

In clothes as well as in speech, the man of taste will shun all these extremes that give offense.”   —   Moliere

(Good ol’ J-BP knoweth of what he speaketh!  LOL!  But, try and explain this to Billy Porter, Lady Gaga, Jonathan Van Ness and so many of today’s celebs.  I know they all have their reasons, but I do get kind of tired of it all.  I’m getting cranky in my old age!  You might get a sense of irony in the picture of Moliere that I selected.  But, you have to remember that – among many things – he was an actor!  He’s more than kinda a big deal.  Just ask Micheline Walker!

Love ya, Gaga!  You were absolutely brilliant in “A Star Is Born”!  Looking at your entire birth name, I can see where you got “Gaga”.  Is that what you did?  Hmm!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR  Image result for Lady Gaga

Answer:  MUSIC TO HER EARS

(Punnerful!  Punnerful!  Besides fond memories of sort of being forced to watch The Lawrence Welk Show – before cable we were very limited in channels and shows – I also have great memories of my brother singing along to Yes, wearing headphones!  Painfully off key, messing up about half of the lyrics, and loud as hell.  But, he always had a big smile on his face!  I think it was from their “Fragile” album.  “Roundabout”  and “Long Distance Runaround”.  Great songs.  Much better when Yes sings them!

We have been spared any new clue words today.  However, all of the jumbles appear to be new.  I got them all immediately.  The answer letter layout was a Wunnerfully cryptic fourteen letter jumble.  It hid the answer splendidly.

Fine music shop cartoon.  “Second Spin”!  I like both of their tee shirts.  The guy with the record spindle adapter, and the girl with a Lady Gaga shirt.  I still think “A Star Is Born” got ripped off at the Oscars!  It was a very moving film, and better overall than “Bohemian Rhapsody”, which I did enjoy, but not as much as Star.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Music is one of the most powerful things the world has to offer.”   —   Lady Gaga

(A lot of people pooh poohed her performance with Metallica, but I thought that it put an exclamation point on her multiplicity!  She can sing old standards with Tony Bennett, her modern funky pop stuff, and even belt out a heavy metal ballad.  The woman’s got chops.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Celebrate all the things you don’t like about yourself – love yourself.”   —   Lady Gaga

(AKA: Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta . . . especially to her mom and dad.  The girl out-Madonnas Madonna!  Her style is said to be inspired by the great glam rockers David Bowie, Freddie Mercury, and Elton John.  She has a very strong social conscience, and is not afraid to express her political views.  The youngsters really seem to really love her.  I can tolerate her . . . in small doses . . . just like I could Madonna.  Not all that big on Pop music.  I’ll die a Rocker, thank you!  Move over Lady Astor!  Lady Gaga is now only the second “Lady” in my WordPress Tag database.  And, you know how I love the ladies!)   —   YUR
