Clue/Question:  When NYC’s train station terminal held a piano concert, people had a – – –

New York City's Grand Central Terminal Official Audio Tour 2021

Answer:  GRAND OLD TIME

(A grand piano, being played at Grand Central Station!  Very nice.  And, I think someone in the audience is a grandmother . . . with her grandchild.  This is a major event, at a very large venue.  Hope you have enough time to make your train.

We have seen all of today’s clue words before.  Two of the jumbles appear to be new, but we’ve definitely seen “dyigd” and “gisted” before.  The only one I had trouble with was “aaclon”.  I decided to just back into it.  I was able to figure out the final answer without the OLA, so that was a big help.  I’m not even sure “canola” should be considered a real word.  It’s a condensed trademark name for Canada Oil Low Acid.  Can OLA.  And, it really didn’t exist before the early 1970s.  But, like they say, it is what it is.  The answer letter layout is a terrific twelve letter jumble.  Not obvious.  The spacing of the final answer slots were a big help.

Great cartoon of Grand Central Terminal.  I didn’t know that Jumble made pianos!  The concert appears to be happening at noon.  I don’t think Granny would be taking her grandson out at midnight.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
