(Not exactly the apex of puns . . . but let’s not belay the point.  There are no new clue words today.  ralis95 can stand down.  Three of the jumbles came up as new, with “rodpo” having been used in the past.  The answer letter layout was a buttress of jumble ingenuity.  The cartoon’s approach traversed the artist’s capabilities very nicely.  Thursday’s Jumble:  SET FOOT IN IT, resulted in nearly 4500 queries!  Not sure what about folks found difficult, a single clue word, or the answer itself.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
