(Since I was a little kid, I’ve been in love with Judy Garland, as Dorothy Gale!  I feel so bad that she struggled with so many demons, and fell into a life of substance abuse, that ultimately killed her at such a young age.  Stupid studio executives!  That Hawaiian dude did a nice version of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”, but I’ll always love the original version.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

(Whoa!  Hold the phone, Frances!  Her real first name.  Middle name, Ethel.  Sounds like someone woke up on the wrong side of the rainbow!  So talented, professionally, yet she led a tormented personal life, filled with divorces, financial problems, and drugs and alcohol.  And it ended all too soon, for her fans, as she died of a barbiturates overdose, at the age of 47.  We like to think that our heroes have it all, but they’re only human, like the rest of us.  Don’t let this quote stop you from dreaming though!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
