Clue/Question: When creating a memorable soundtrack for “Jaws”, John Williams was – – –
Answer: INSTRUMENTAL
(Well, it was no “Gidget Goes to Rome”, but . . . LOL! I never realized that John Williams has been composing film, and TV, scores since the late 1950s! I guess I never really paid that much attention to instrumental film scores, until “Jaws”. Then both “Star Wars” and “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” turned him into a proverbial rock star, and the most sought after composer in all of Hollywood. His list of film credits is completely off the hook. And, he composes for orchestras, and conducts for them too. I know he’s done a lot of work with the Boston Pops! And, he’s like the Energizer bunny! He’s still going strong at 90! Go, Johnny, go!
No new compositions on the Jumble clue word front. Three of the jumbles are coming up as new, but we’ve definitely seen “tecih” . . . “a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away”? None of the clue words gave me any trouble. The answer letter layout was a tremendous twelve letter jumble. I thought it was composed brilliantly! Good job, Davey boy!
At first, I thought the image on the screen was something ghostly. But after reading the dialog I picked up on that lovely lady swimmer that was the great white’s first victim. Great likeness of the youn-ger John Williams! And, I liked the soundboard that they’re using. I suppose today that it’s all digital, but I don’t really know. Fun Jumble! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
