Clue/Question: The best vie of Mount Rushmore is when it’s – – –
Answer: FACING YOU
(Technically, it’s gaze is fixed. It’s up to you to be facing it! But, I DO love this pun. We’ve had a number of Mount Rushmore Jumbles in the past, but I think with other pun-swers. This one seems fresh.
None of today’s clue words are new. However, two of the jumbles appear to be so. We have seen both “grinio” and “lanfie” sometime in the last twelve to thirteen years. I had to come back to “grinio”, as “origin” didn’t come to me . . . at first. But, I was able to get it honestly. The answer letter layout was a fine nine letter jumble. Cryptic enough. I would say that this was a quick visual solve.
And, It’s all due to the great cartoon depiction of the young family visiting the Black Hills National Forest, in Keystone, South Dakota. I’ve yet to see it in person, but it’s on my bucket list. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
