Answer:  THREW AND THREW

(Excellent stinky pun!  Great homonym pun.  This sublime moment in Baseball history took place over 62 years ago, so it’s even older than yer uncle!  It remains the only perfect game, and only no-hitter, to be pitched in a World Series game.  And, old Don is still with us at age 89.  And, he did pitch into the first ten years of my life.  But sadly, I can’t say – for certain – that I ever saw him pitch.  I really didn’t follow baseball until about age 10.

Surprisingly, we have a new clue word today, in “entry”.  The other three were faithful old friends.  All four of the jumbles came up as new.  The answer letter layout was a very impressive thirteen letter jumble.  I don’t think it gave anything away.

Great recreation of that iconic moment.  I would not be surprised if those were the exact words exchanged between Don and Yogi.  A great cartoon and a great Jumble.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
