(Interesting. I suppose this could be true. To me, though, it sounds like he’s over-thinking something that really shouldn’t require a lot of thought. Many, many things require deep thought. But, friendship? Just take it as it comes, mah chilluns. Like most things in life, there is no guarantee of permanence with friendships. We all should enjoy them while we can.
