Answer: APPREHENSION
(Loads to love about today’s Jumble! There were no new clue words, but all of the jumbles came up as new, for me. Even though they were new, none of them were able to stump me. The answer letter layout however was another story. It’s a super jumble, that gives nothing away. The phrasing of the clue/question was the biggest hint for me. Calvin’s parents would be the other hint. It’s kind of hard to say that today’s answer constitutes a pun, because the clue/question sets up the two different meanings of the word. But, I’m sure the pun-haters are groaning anyway! Great likenesses of Calvin and the parents. I think Jeff actually made Calvin cuter! Watterson should come out of retirement!
