Answer: KINGDOM COME
(Super Anglophilic period pun! It has been quite a while since I’ve heard that particular idiom . . . especially outside of church. You used to hear about things being blown to kingdom come, but probably not so much these days. There were all old favorite clue words used today, and yet all of the jumbles came up as new. I thought they all were a “cinch”, today. The answer letter layout was the best jumble of the day. I’m sure it left a number of Jumble enthusiasts scratching their heads. I thought the last part of the single line of dialog was an unnecessary bonus clue. Who the heck ever says that? The “in Heaven” is always implied in “rest in peace”. Does anyone ever rest in peace in Hell? Hell no! You’re always stepping into lava puddles, and getting prodded with pitchforks, and such! And in Purgatory, you’re always pacing anxiously, like an expectant father, wondering if it’s Up or Down for you. So, yeah. Adding “in Heaven” to “rest in peace” is like getting hit over the head with the club of obviosity. But, I did like the cartoon. Very regal. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
