(A beautiful groaner of a pun! I am very impressed with today’s Jumble. None of today’s clue words are new, but five of the jumbles appear to be so. Hoyt has definitely used “wdorac” before. I thought all of the jumbles presented a nice challenge. No gimmes today!
The answer letter layout was an impressive 15 letter jumble. Nothing about it appears to be obvious. And, I wouldn’t be surprised if this stumped some of you, for a while. I let my daughter and her boyfriend play around with it, and he got it after a few minutes. The word “mandatory”, in the clue/question, was definitely the key.
Classic suburban family scene in today’s cartoon. I was a little surprised that Jeff didn’t take the opportunity to make the car a Jumble-Mobile. Usually, he puts a big “J” on the grill. Maybe the Jumble-Mobile is a little to high end for a teen? No biggie though. A very satisfying Sunday Jumble, any way you look at it. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
