English: Pit crews have to work together efficiently in order to repair heat winning cars so they can return to compete in the feature event. Most derbies require that the same car qualifying in the heat must be used in the feature. Answer: WHEELS WERE IN MOTION
(Wow! An 18-letter answer! And, it had me stumped for a while. There were no new clue words, but five of the jumbles are new. They have used “lethem” before. I thought the jumbles for “inform” and “enough” and “tamper” were very creative. But, the best jumble was the answer letter layout! I didn’t see the word WHEELS for the longest time. For a while, I thought the second word was either TIME or SHOW. And, I also thought the third word was either IS or TO. I left it for a while, and when I came back the word WHEELS just hit me, then WERE, and then the pun finally fell into place! Very cool cartoon. I don’t follow racing, so I don’t know who Jeff’s driver is. Or, how a Duff Beer blimp comes into play. But overall, I thought this was a very challenging and entertaining Jumble. How ’bout you guys??? Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
