“History is a pack of lies about events that never happened told by people who weren’t there.” — George Santayana
(Even if this wasn’t said tongue-in-cheek it’s not necessarily wrong. As I’ve said on a number of occasions, history was always my favorite subject. It’s like story time! But, I’ve grown to acknowledge that history is the most subjective of all the academic disciplines. Even my history professor buddy cannot dispute this, as we frequently disagree on numerous historical issues. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

“An artist is a dreamer consenting to dream of the actual world.” — George Santayana
(And, speaking of dreamers, Happy Belated Birthday to John Lennon! The good man would have been 70 this past Saturday. I coulda sent my wishes earlier, but I generally prefer to stay off the bandwagon. And, the way I see it, belated wishes kinda extend the event!) — YUR
