(I’m fairly sure, his being a Brit and all, that George was actually referring to Soccer. But, this quote could very easily refer to American Football, which has been described as a kind of war. Since George was opposed to totalitarianism/authoritarianism, and an outspoken supporter of democratic socialism, I won’t even make fun of his “football”. LOL! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
