RMLOFA = FORMAL, GCCANO = COGNAC, RUYGEN = GURNEY, RSBPEU = SUPERB, TRUFHO = FOURTH, CADFEE = DEFACE — Giving us: MALCNANYPEOUHDAC
Clue/Question: When Elon Musk founded SpaceX in 2002, he – – –
Pre-Answer: Three Words (8-letters) (1-letter) (7-letters)
Answer: LAUNCHED A COMPANY
(A fine, stinky pun! I was a little intimidated by the sixteen letter answer letter layout, for about one minute. But, then I figured the one letter had to be A, which led me to COMPANY. The remainder gave me LAUNCHED, and the pun.
All of the clue words are old friends. We don’t see “gurney” or “cognac” all that often. All of the jumbles were great, but especially “ruygen” and “trufoh”. Four of them were new, with “ruygen” and “cadfee” having definitely been used before. The answer letter layout was a very impressive sixteen letter jumble. For about a minute I thought I was going to struggle mightily.
Great cartoon of Elon Musk giving a presentation. He’s kinda got those sleepy looking eyes. I think if any private company is going to get us to Mars it’s going to be SpaceX. Elon is one of those driven kind of guys. Be well and do good, folks.) — YUR
