(Great jumbling of the clue words.  None were too difficult, for me – I didn’t have to back into any of them, at least.  It looks like ralis95 will be adding “mulch” to the database.  The answer letter layout was sufficiently cryptic.  The answer – pun – was pretty darn obvious, though.  Don’t know if Jeff had a particular singer in mind when he drew the cartoon, or not.  I’m not all that into Soul Music.  I’ve been having more connectivity issues with my computer, which is why this is as late as it is.  It’s looking more and more like people are getting their word game spoilers from some other source, anyway.  Oh well.  What am I gonna do?  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
