Jumble Spoiler – 03/26/18

Clue/Question:  The price of the fancy new recliner was not in his – – –

Answer:  COMFORT ZONE

(Not bad, for a Monday.  A little unusual for a clue word to be in the clue/question, but that really doesn’t make a difference.  All of the clue words are tried and true, yet all the jumbles appear to be new.  I thought that “ezense” was the most challenging of them.

The answer letter layout was a decent jumble.  Maybe MOTOR would have worked better than GROOM.  The resulting MOOFC would have hid the word COMFORT a little better than the OOMFC.  As it was, I kinda saw COMFORT right off the bat. 

Nice cartoon.  Before reading anything, my first impression was a guy in a business class airline seat.  The lady could have been a flight attendant.  But, the tags and dialog, and the clue/question brought me back to a straight and upright position.  Jeff’s boys made it to the Final Four.  They’ve got to play the underdog, Cinderella team, Loyola Chicago, who has Sister Jean in their corner!  And on Easter Eve no less!  That’s a tall order.  I’ll be pulling for Kansas to win it all, so I can watch Michigan/Loyola as a pure basketball fan.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
