Answer:  RAPIDLY

(A nice stinky pun.  Hopefully, he won’t go into a roll.  But, at least he’s wearing a helmet.  We have yet another new clue word today, in “accrue”.  It looks familiar to me, but it’s not in the recent ralis95 clue word database, so we’re going to call it new.  All of the jumbles were new, to me.  I struggled mightily with “yield”.  I first attempted IDLEY ???, and then EYLID ???  What was I thinking?  I had to back into it.  It’s not a word I would add to my blind spot list, but I just give credit to the jumbler-man, David L. Hoyt!  Because of the two and a half vowels, I was looking for a two syllable word, I guess.  It’s very humbling.  I thought the answer letter layout was great too.  And of course, Jeff Knurek captured all the drama of white water kayaking.  A grand puzzler, as our friend Linda Lee would say!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
