Clue/Question:  After seeing his new car’s first door ding, he experienced a little – – –

The Chow Chow Lab Mix Characteristics, Temperament, and Names?

Answer:  DEPRESSION

(A devastating Jumble pun!  But he’ll get over it . . . eventually.  We’d all like to keep our cars as pristine as possible, but somedings just can’t be avoided.  I remember when my first born fell – while playing – on some concrete steps, and got a good bloody scrape on his little forehead.  It was the very first time my precious son was marred.  Before that time he was still factory fresh, so I was very upset.  But it was just the first of many boo-boos and breaks that he would experience in life.  He’s made it to age 35, and he’s as tall, strong and handsome as can be – smart too – so boo-boos can’t break you.

All of today’s clue words are classics.  Some we haven’t seen in a while.  Ya can’t spell “casino” without sin, folks!  Two of the jumbles appear to be new, but we’ve definitely seen “kopre” and “rseds” in previous Jumbles.  The answer letter layout was another tenacious ten letter jumble!  I thought that it disguised the final answer very nicely.  It took a minute for DEPRESSION to set in.  But I didn’t let it get me down.

Fine cartoon of a guy lamenting a dent in his new car.  The female significant other is doing her best to cheer him up, with a little rationalization.  It was bound to happen, sooner or later.  Now he can move on, and worry about other things!  LOL!  I was worried that we were going to lose Wally this weekend.  He vomited 11 times on Saturday, and I had to take him to an emergency veterinary hospital.  He couldn’t even hold down water.  He was running a bit of a fever, but I guess most of his vitals were decent.  They gave him an IV to replenish all his lost fluids, and a shot to prevent the vomiting and nausea.  He was totally out of it all day Sunday.  Weak as a kitten, with absolutely NO appetite.  But he could drink water!  It was kind of touch and go last night, but this morning he woke up and actually ate something!  He’s got to take it slow, but he is coming around to his old self.  My depression has been lifted!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

PS.  This is pretty close to what my Wally looks like!     YUR
